About This Service
Las Terrenas offers friendly waves perfect for learning to surf and enjoyable sessions for experienced riders. The beach breaks along Playa Las Terrenas and nearby beaches provide consistent conditions, especially from October through March when Atlantic swells arrive.
Our surf instruction is provided by experienced local surfers who love sharing their passion. Lessons include all equipment, ocean safety fundamentals, wave selection, paddling technique, and of course, standing up and riding. Most beginners catch their first waves within the first session.
For experienced surfers, we arrange quality board rentals and can advise on the best spots for current conditions. Depending on the swell direction and wind, we'll point you to the spot that's working best that day.
Beyond Las Terrenas, we can arrange surf trips to more powerful breaks around the Dominican Republic for intermediate and advanced surfers looking for bigger challenges.
